Introducing Gamma Zeta January 2014 New Initiates
On February 10, 2014 Gamma Zeta active members and alumni gathered to initiate our newest class, most who will graduate in 2017. ATO National CIO Wynn Smiley was there to show support along with alumni Jim Dobrovolny ’70, Greg Scott ’76, Jack Klues, Dane Luhrsen, Don Armstrong and Dave Seiler, all 77’s, Dave Krug ’95 and Jeff Eversden ’05.
This is a talented group of guys who came in with a GPA for this past fall of 3.19, which was above the Chapter, Fraternity and All Men’s averages.

Gamma Zetas jump 20 spots in fraternity GPA rankings!
Our Gamma Zeta undergrads went into the Fall semester determined to make a significant improvement in academic performance. They set a goal to finish above fraternity and university men’s averages and combined with alumni support put several programs in place to help. Their hard work and planning paid off as the chapter jumped an incredible 20 spots in the University of Illinois Fraternity GPA Rankings.Continue reading
Gamma Zeta Undergrads Practice Interviewing Skills on Alumni
On Wednesday, January 15, ATO alumni sponsored a Mock Interview Day at the Illini Center in Chicago to give ATO undergrads an opportunity to practice their interviewing skills. Sixteen undergrads put on their best suits and ties, shined their shoes and each got an opportunity to meet and interview with two alumni. Each meeting consisted of a thirty minute interview followed by a fifteen minute feedback session.
