We have a winner in our “Last Tau Standing” pool – Dan “Dawg” Barry ’84! Dawg won on the Point Spread Differential tie-breaker over nineteen guys who were still mathematically in the running going into the last week of play including three other guys who along with Dawg who had just one loss. PEKIN – Rex Gordon Sherman, 94, of Pekin passed away peacefully at 2:27 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Pekin Manor.

Congrats to Mike Houlihan ’73, owner of HDC Homes Without Limits who was a 2014 Paraquad Shine the Light Award honoree! The annual event recognizes St. Louis area companies, organizations and individuals whose actions and policies exemplify the goal of promoting a fully accessible community for people with disabilities.
On December 10, alumnus Norm Bilsbury ’92, who recently moved back to the Champaign/Urbana area visited the chapter house and conducted a resume workshop for interested undergrads. Norm reported that “the guys were really engaged, really worked hard on the resumes had great attitudes and were willing to learn.” Hopefully this is the first of many sessions where alumni reach out to help our undergrads prepare for their job search process. Thanks Norm!!!

We’ve reported before that an incident involving Gamma Zeta undergraduates on May 6 resulted in our chapter being placed on suspension from the University of Illinois. As a result, the following nine undergraduates or recent graduates have been expelled from ATO directly due to their actions that night or their lack of compliance with subsequent sanctions. – Continue reading →
